Danielle Merker, Co-Founder of The Merker Group, Inc., focuses on legal recruitment of attorneys at all levels for many of the top Am Law 100 and 200 firms across the United States. Danielle also works with the in-house legal departments for a wide range of clients, including start-ups, Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, across all sectors.
Danielle's goal is to establish close relationships with her clients and to learn about their unique cultures and hiring objectives. This leads to successful, effective and efficient searches that are specifically tailored to her clients' needs. In addition to recruitment, Danielle has partnered with her clients on various matters, including market mappings and benchmarking data and compensation. Danielle also enjoys working closely with her candidates, providing guidance and helping them identify opportunities that are in line with their career goals.
Prior to founding The Merker Group, Inc., Danielle worked as a legal recruiter for one of the world's leading legal recruitment firms. There, she handled both in-house and law firm searches and successfully placed candidates into law firms and companies across various industries.
Before becoming a recruiter and entrepreneur, Danielle was a practicing attorney for nine years in New York City. Her background in law and practical experience has given her extensive insight into the legal market, which has proven very valuable to her clients and candidates.

Kevin Merker, Co-Founder of The Merker Group, Inc., launched the firm in 2017 alongside Danielle, driving the firm's strategic direction and market positioning. In addition to managing day-to-day recruiting, Kevin focuses on building long-term relationships with companies and law firms nationwide. He is highly adept at navigating organizational structures, identifying internal challenges, and understanding the unique nuances of each client's culture.
Kevin partners closely with candidates, providing expert guidance throughout the interview process and often maintaining trusted relationships long after a successful placement. His career spans business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, and sales within digital media and entertainment, alongside a decade of experience founding, operating, and successfully selling his own e-commerce company. This diverse background allows Kevin to bring a uniquely holistic, business-minded approach to legal recruiting that sets him apart in the industry.
Kevin graduated with honors from Babson College with a degree in Marketing and Economics.
